Choosing recovery means choosing not to walk alone.

Mark and Kay Lewington saw the impact of addiction up close — first in Mark’s family and later in the life of someone they loved directly. Those experiences could have stayed only painful. Instead, they became the beginning of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built to help other families find a hopeful next chapter.

They noticed the gap that appears after formal rehabilitation: the plan may end, but the recovery does not. Tea and Cake exists in that in-between, offering a safe environment where men can build stability and practice the habits that make a fresh start possible.

The heart of the work remains personal. Members are welcomed with patience, humor, and the kind of consistency that says: you’re still part of the story.
